Job summary

Jobtailor in the Netherlands seeks a Sales Engineer to translate customer requests into winning technical and commercial quotations. You will discuss process-related documents like P&IDs and PFDs with customers during the quotation phase.

You will connect international Sales Managers, Process Engineering and the Knowledge Center, and continuously improve the tools and outputs used by Sales Engineering. Fluency in English is required; Dutch and German are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in (Chemical) Engineering, Water Technology or similar field.
• Excellent verbal and written English; Dutch and German a plus.
• Proactive team player who balances commercial and technological arguments.
• Problem solving and flexible attitude to overcome challenges.

Responsibilities

• Translate customers' requests into a technical and commercial quotation.
• Discuss process-related documentation during quotation phase, such as P&IDs and PFDs.
• Act as a connector between international Sales Managers, Process Engineering and Knowledge Center.
• Continuously improve Sales Engineering tools and output.

Requirements

• Proactive team player who is comfortable balancing commercial and technological arguments
• Problem‑solving and flexible attitude to overcome challenges on the fly
