Job summary

Check Point Software Technologies is seeking a Security Engineer to join our sales-focused team in the Netherlands. The role covers pre‑sales technical support, collaboration with Major Accounts and partners, and acting as the primary technical contact for customers.

You will deliver product presentations, assist with RFIs/RFPs, and contribute to IT security events and partner seminars while aligning with sales goals and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a Systems Engineer (SE) in a vendor/partner environment.
• Knowledge in security environment and Check Point technologies.
• Familiarity with networking technologies.
• Experience with POCs and demos.
• Strong customer-facing experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Experience working with end users.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support covering all sales and marketing efforts.
• Support Major Accounts Sales and main partners.
• Primary technical and conceptual sales contact for customers.
• Work closely with sales, Major Accounts reps and channel managers.
• Develop existing and new accounts in conjunction with sales reps.
• Present products and solutions, respond to RFIs/RFPs.
• Participate in IT security events and training for partners and prospects.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre sales technical support covering all sales and marketing efforts in the area including pre‑sales
• Support for Major Accounts Sales and main partners
• Primary technical and conceptual sales support contact for customers
• Working closely with all sales functions, Major Accounts Sales reps and channel managers
• Development of existing and new accounts in conjunction with sales reps
• Identification of new projects
• Project management and reporting
• Conceptual and technical support of prospects and customers
• Product and solution presentations
• Answers to RFI's & RFP's
• Active participation in IT security events and trade shows
• Training updates, seminars and workshop for main partners and prospects

Qualifications

• At least 5 years as an SE in a vendor/partner environment
• Knowledge in Security environment and Check Point technologies
• Familiarity with the networking technologies

• Good understanding of customer environment
