Zoom Tan in Amsterdam is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and help clients look and feel their best. You will guide customers through tanning options, answer questions, and ensure a memorable visit.

The role emphasizes long-term growth within the company, flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and a fast-paced, friendly environment. Compensation includes base pay plus uncapped commissions and bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in customer service or sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and provide a warm, welcoming experience.
• Assess skin types to select tanning equipment and lotion; explain process and safety.
• Keep the tanning area clean and equipment in good working order.
• Upsell tanning lotions and products based on client needs.
• Meet and exceed sales targets while delivering professional service.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Maintain accurate client records of tanning history and preferences.

Responsibilities: some of your key responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Greeting clients and providing them with a warm and welcoming experience.
• Assessing clients' skin types determines the appropriate tanning equipment and lotion for their needs; thorough explanation of the tanning process, including proper positioning and safety guidelines, answering any questions they may have.
• Maintaining a clean and organized tanning area, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that lotions and other supplies are well-stocked.
• Upselling tanning lotions and other products to clients, providing recommendations based on their individual needs and preferences.
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
• Maintaining accurate records of client information, including tanning history and preferences, to ensure a personalized and consistent experience with each visit.
• Opening and closing the tanning salon on time.

Pay:
$16.50 + uncapped commission and bonuses
Qualifications: Salon Sales Associate should be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and positive individuals who are passionate about the tanning industry.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in customer service or sales is highly preferred.
• Must be flexible and adaptable required to work evening, weekend, and/or holidays as well as work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand, bend and work for long periods of time.

Experience:

• Sales experience 1 year (preferred)
• Customer Service 1 year (preferred)
