Job summary

Allianz Commercial in Rotterdam is seeking a Senior Claims Handler to join our team, handling end-to-end claims for engineering lines and managing client relationships.

Reporting to Head of Claims Belgium & Netherlands, you will collaborate with underwriters, risk consultants and operations, drive IT/digital projects, and ensure accurate claims administration.

Fluent Dutch and English are required; we offer a hybrid work model and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Significant experience handling claims for corporate clients, with a focus on Engineering lines.
• Solid understanding of coverage principles and claims resolution strategies.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, processes, guidelines, and litigation management.
• Fluency in Dutch and English for a market-facing role in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end local and international claims in Engineering.
• Input, process, and maintain accurate claims records (reserves, payments).
• Produce management information reports (e.g., monthly major claims movements).
• Prepare referral documentation and materials as needed.
