Job summary

Hexion in Pernis, NL is seeking a Discipline Engineer Mechanical (Rotating). You will act as the site SME for rotating equipment, lead reliability initiatives and support capital projects to ensure safe, reliable operations across the plant.

The role requires 5–10 years of mechanical engineering experience, fluency in Dutch and English, and a strong focus on safety and standards compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of mechanical engineering experience in chemical/industrial sectors.
• Strong rotating equipment experience; knowledge of static equipment and integrity programs preferred.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; excellent communication and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for rotating equipment and provide technical support for static equipment.
• Develop, maintain and govern site standards, practices and specifications.
• Lead RCAs and reliability improvement initiatives to enhance asset performance.
• Support capital projects, MOC processes and equipment life-cycle plans.
