Job summary

Relay Robotics is seeking an entry‑level Field Technician to provide hands‑on hardware service at client sites. You will learn our robot hardware, perform on‑site diagnostics, and help with deployments. This is an on‑site, independent contractor role with occasional travel and no remote work.

You’ll engage with technical and non‑technical teammates, communicate clearly, and support customers from Fortune 100 & 500 firms. Training is provided, and a toolkit will be supplied.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with robotics and field service is a plus.
• Ability to maintain and repair hardware in client sites.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical teams.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn the robot hardware and perform on-site servicing.
• Diagnose and repair hardware failures at client sites.
• Assist with field deployment projects and new robot rollouts.
• Report progress to Project Manager and follow tasking directions.
• Travel to client sites regionally 1–3 times per month.
