Job summary

Salve.Inno Consulting is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to install, maintain and repair equipment at customer sites across the Northeast Netherlands. You will start from home with a fully equipped service vehicle and travel to client locations, with occasional visits to The Hague head office.

The role blends mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting with basic electronics, telemetry diagnostics and customer training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on technical service or maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanics and hydraulics background.
• Basic electronics knowledge.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining technical equipment.
• Comfort with laptops/tablets and diagnostic software.
• Able to work independently in the field.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Dutch and English communication skills.
• Valid driving licence.
• Willing to participate in rotating weekend standby.
• Must reside in, or cover, the Northeast Netherlands.
• Certificate of Conduct (VOG) during final recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdown and service requests via internal ticketing.
• Install, maintain and repair at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and basic electronic faults.
• Use telemetry and data to diagnose remotely before on-site travel.
• Repair equipment on-site or replace modules using stock.
• Install, configure, calibrate and test new equipment.
• Deliver short training sessions to customers.
• Maintain control of spare parts and tools in the service vehicle.
• Participate in larger installations and projects.
• Complete ~3-4 service calls per day.
• Participate in rotating weekend standby.
• Attend technical and product training.
• Work independently while collaborating with colleagues.
