JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair robotic automation equipment for customers remotely and on-site worldwide. Up to 80% travel is required, with emphasis on fast issue resolution and quality service.

You will work with robots, PLCs, HMIs, control devices, and peripheral equipment, providing professional customer support, detailed documentation, and hands-on training at client facilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of technical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints and robotics systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% domestically and internationally.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair robotic automation equipment.
• Repair robots, PLCs, HMIs, and peripheral devices.
• Document incidents clearly in the case reporting system.
