Qualifications

• Completed HBO or WO degree in Information Technology, Information Security, General Security, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Security, Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, Business Intelligence, or Performance Management.
• Proven hands-on experience with Power BI, oBoard, KPI frameworks, and data modeling.
• Demonstrable working background within IT and Information Security Risk Management environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance Key Results framework in oBoard and track progress and dependencies.
• Governance & Compliance Monitoring: track remediation actions and compliance initiatives.
• Data Analytics & Dashboard Development: design and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models.
• Executive Reporting: deliver reports on risk trends and compliance statuses.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: partner with Security, Risk, Compliance, Governance and Audit teams.

For one of our market leading clients in Arnhem, I'm recruiting for Risk & Compliance Officer.

Role Overview

As a Risk & Compliance Officer within the Security, Risk & Compliance (SRC) department, you will play a crucial role in strengthening governance, risk management, and compliance capabilities to support the future-proof expansion of the electricity grid. Combining SRC expertise with strong data analytics, you will manage Key Results frameworks in oBoard, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and design Power BI dashboards that provide executive transparency into risk trends, security metrics, and compliance statuses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Framework & Performance Management: Maintain and continuously improve the team's Key Results framework in oBoard, aligning them with departmental and organizational objectives while tracking progress, dependencies, and bottlenecks.

• Governance & Compliance Monitoring: Create, coordinate, and track remediation actions, improvement plans, and compliance initiatives, facilitating corrective and preventive actions.

• Data Analytics & Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, data models, and reporting frameworks, ensuring high data quality and adherence to visualization best practices.

• Executive Reporting: Translate complex business requirements into meaningful KPIs and deliver comprehensive operational and executive reports on risk trends, audit findings, and compliance statuses.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with internal stakeholders across Security, Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, and Audit to provide actionable data-driven insights and recommendations.

Your Deliverables:

• Maintained and optimized Key Results frameworks managed via oBoard.

• Interactive Power BI dashboards and executive management reports tracking SRC performance and compliance metrics.

• Tracked remediation plans, audit action logs, and continuous improvement documentation.

Your Profile:

• Education: Completed HBO or WO degree in Information Technology, Information Security, General Security, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience (Hard Requirements):

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Security, Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, Business Intelligence, or Performance Management.

  • Proven hands-on experience with Power BI, oBoard, KPI frameworks, and data modeling.

  • Demonstrable working background within IT and Information Security Risk Management environments.

• Language: Fluent professional proficiency in English; fluency in Dutch is considered a strong advantage.
