Job summary

Ampleon in Nijmegen (The Netherlands) or Toulouse (France) is seeking a highly skilled RF Application Engineer to join the NPI Multi-Market team. The role focuses on RF power applications, demos, and reference designs across ISM, Healthcare, Broadcast, Radar, and Mobile Radio.

You will design, simulate, and measure high-performance demo boards, define key customer requirements, and support integration with emphasis on RF performance, matching, and thermal design.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of RF design experience.
• Master's or higher in RF Power & Microwave.
• Experience with RF measurement techniques.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate and measure performance of RF demo boards.
• Define customer requirements and evaluate reference designs.
• Support customers in RF performance, matching, and thermal design.
• Solve complex system issues with customers.
• Write Application Notes on features and usage.
• Benchmark products against competitors to define edge.
• Propose innovative products based on customer interactions.
• Build and maintain an international contact network and participate in visits.
