Job summary

Optiver Holding BV is seeking an RF Systems Engineer to design, integrate, and optimize the analog RF receive and transmit chains for high-performance systems. You will tackle low-power receive paths and high-power transmit chains, balancing impedance, bandwidth and efficiency while validating with measurements.

You will collaborate with system, algorithm, digital hardware and software engineers to translate objectives into RF requirements and actionable improvements.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering or Applied Physics.
• Hands-on RF hardware experience and cross-disciplinary thinking.
• Strong grounding in analog RF, impedance and load effects on system performance.
• Ability to design, test and validate RF subsystems with measurement data.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, integration, characterization and performance of the analog RF receive and transmit chains.
• Develop and optimize impedance matching and tuning for changing antenna loads.
• Design low-power receive chains (LNAs, filters, matching networks).
• Validate models with measurements and collaborate with system and software teams.
• Define test strategies and translate objectives into clear specifications for suppliers.
