Job summary

AFL Telecommunications, LLC is seeking a Wireless Systems Engineer to design DAS/Small Cell networks and participate in cost estimates and proposals. The role supports Sales and Engineering Management, develops BOMs, and assists in training teams to meet client requirements.

The engineer will attend OEM training to master RF principles for current DAS/Small Cell technologies, with extensive travel up to 90% and a focus on delivering reliable wireless solutions across carrier networks.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or science required
• 4 year degree with telecom experience or 3-5 years with related college courses
• Proficient with IBWAVE, Office, Project, Visio

Responsibilities

• Design new and upgrade Small Cell and DAS networks
• Contribute to project estimates and proposals
• Provide guidance and training to Sales and Operations
• Meet project timelines with Deployment teams
• Perform radio engineering evaluation for system planning and site acquisition
• Create and use RF propagation and planning tools (IBWAVE)
