As a Telecom Engineer, you are responsible for engineering telecom networks that ensure optimal communication within the high‑voltage grid. Through your work, new and existing telecom assets are designed, deployed, installed, and modified for internal stakeholders and external clients. Most activities can be performed in a hybrid manner—from the office or from home—while occasional visits to client or supplier locations are part of the role. You will also have the opportunity to develop yourself into a subject‑matter expert in telecom networks. This position is available for a minimum of 32 hours per week.
In this role, you take technical responsibility for the telecom infrastructure within assigned projects. You work out the technical design for connecting project locations to the telecom network and act as the central point of coordination across all telecom‑related disciplines.
You align technical aspects with project teams on behalf of various grid and infrastructure clients. You contribute to project plans covering safety, feasibility, and technical integrity. Each year, dozens of new connections and customer sites are built, modified, or maintained—so the work is dynamic and continuously evolving.
