Job summary

Movenpick Hotel Amsterdam is looking for a dedicated waiter to join our food and beverage team. You will be responsible for providing excellent service in the restaurant, lobby & lounge bar, and in-room dining. Shift flexibility is required, with shifts varying from morning to night.

In return, you can expect a monthly gross salary of €14.91 to €15.68 per hour, alongside a host of benefits including travel allowances, pension contributions, and discounts at multiple hotels.

Job description

You will satisfy the guests in our hotel with our food and beverage services. As a waiter you are responsible for the restaurant, lobby & lounge bar and in‑room dining, working with an international team to ensure guests have a great stay.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and make them feel at home at our food and beverage outlets. Good service is number one.
• Provide accurate information about drinks and dishes and serve them in the correct manner.
• Take orders, prepare drinks, and engage guests in conversation about their visit to Amsterdam.
• Prepare the restaurant for evening service or tidy up after breakfast.
• Refill drinks in the bar so all beverages are available.
• Assist with in‑room dining when needed.

Working hours depend on your station (bar, restaurant, or room service). For the restaurant and room service, shifts are from 7:00 to 15:00 and from 15:00 to 23:00, with flexibility for different shifts. For the bar, shifts are from 9:00 to 15:00, from 15:00 to 23:00, and from 16:00 to 0:00.
