Job summary

Movenpick Hotel Amsterdam is seeking a dedicated waiter to provide exceptional food and beverage services. You will welcome guests, serve drinks and dishes, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant, lobby bar, and room service.

This position offers a gross monthly salary between €2,468 and €2,582, a 38-hour work week, and various benefits including paid leave, travel allowances, and discounts at affiliated hotels.

Job description

Responsibilities

You will satisfy guests in our hotel with our food and beverage services. As a waiter you are responsible for the restaurant, lobby & lounge bar and in-room dining, together with an international team.

• Welcome guests and make them feel at home at our food and beverage outlets. Good service is number one.
• Provide correct information about drinks and dishes and serve them properly.
• Prepare drinks and take orders. Engage in conversation about local cuisine and the city.
• Prepare the restaurant for evening service or tidy up after breakfast.
• Keep bar stocked by refilling drinks.

Schedule

Your working hours depend on where you need to work. For the restaurant and room service, shifts are from 7:00 to 15:00 and from 15:00 to 23:00. For the bar, shifts are 9:00‑15:00, 15:00‑23:00, and 16:00‑0:00. You must be open to work various shifts.

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly gross salary between €2,468 and €2,582, in accordance with scale 3 of the Collective Labour Agreement.
• 38‑hour contract per week.
