Job summary

Overview

As a Resource Planner at DSV in Moerdijk, you will coordinate drivers and international routes, ensuring efficient use of resources in a fast‑paced planning environment.

Responsibilities

• Match drivers and charters to international routes, taking into account driving hours, ADR regulations, trailer requirements, and complex multi‑stop routes.
• Monitor vehicles and routes daily and anticipate deviations.
• Solve last‑minute issues and coordinate alternative solutions with other DSV locations.
• Process planning updates, changes, and administration in Excel.
• Contribute to special logistics projects such as relocations within The Netherlands and assignments from Air & Sea or Contract Logistics.

Qualifications

• Experience with resource planning, preferably international planning, in roles such as transport planner, resource planner, or transport coordinator.
• Energetic, sociable personality and willingness to speak up and share opinions.
• Strong organisational skills, able to recognise patterns and bring structure to a fast‑moving logistics environment.
• Good command of Dutch (B2 level) and English.
