Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Systems Engineer (Linux & Windows) to join a cloud operations team. This fully remote role focuses on maintaining secure, reliable environments, handling first-line support, monitoring, and troubleshooting across Linux and Windows systems.

You will work with Traefik, NGINX, Envoy, and Apache, manage databases such as MariaDB, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL, and participate in continuous improvements, documentation, and knowledge sharing while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant IT operations experience.
• Strong Linux expertise including kernel tuning and filesystem management.
• Solid Windows knowledge, especially Active Directory and system configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Traefik, NGINX, Envoy, or Apache.
• Experience with MariaDB, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL databases.
• Understanding of TLS termination and security concepts.
• Structured, proactive, and documentation-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for incidents and monitoring alerts.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems.
• Manage web servers and load-balancing solutions.
• Handle TLS certificates and database environments.
• Monitor performance and contribute to reliability.
• Identify improvements to configurations and architectures.
• Collaborate to share knowledge and enhance operations.
• Train and onboard new team members.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and hours.
• Participate in rotating shifts including nights and holidays.
• Take on additional responsibilities to support objectives.
