Job summary

Lever, Inc. in the Netherlands seeks a Full-Stack Developer / Shopify Expert (Ecommerce CRO focus) to own performance, usability, and conversion for high-traffic Shopify storefronts.

You will work across Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Shopify APIs, themes, and custom storefront functionality, driving experiments and measurable improvements. Collaboration with marketing, design, and product teams will be essential, with emphasis on Core Web Vitals and site speed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Shopify APIs.
• Experience customizing Shopify themes and building custom storefront functionality.
• Track record of delivering measurable eCommerce conversion improvements.
• Solid understanding of performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, and mobile responsiveness.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement front-end and back-end improvements across Shopify storefronts and checkout experiences.
• Plan and execute A/B tests, CRO experiments, and UX optimizations.
• Optimize page speed and Core Web Vitals, improving overall site performance.
• Build custom Shopify features and sections using Liquid and APIs.
• Analyze analytics, heatmaps, and behavioral data to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to ship tested, high-performing experiences.
• Monitor Shopify updates and CRO best practices to stay current.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-documented code in established workflows.
• Track results from experiments and site improvements to guide future initiatives.
• Own site issues and performance bugs, resolving them efficiently.
• Establish a pipeline of testing and optimization initiatives and act as a technical CRO resource.
