Strategic Staffing Solutions Netherlands (Remote) is urgently hiring a Senior Private Equity Fund Accountant for a 9-month contract starting 16/11/2026. You will manage fund accounting, asset reporting, and audit coordination for a global investment services client.

The role requires 5+ years in private equity fund accounting, GAAP knowledge, and experience with consolidations and financial reporting. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in private equity fund accounting.
• Strong knowledge of traditional asset accounting and financial statement reporting.
• Good understanding of GAAP requirements and applicable accounting standards.
• Experience with fund structures, consolidations, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform general fund accounting in accordance with local, international, and industry-specific accounting standards.
• Handle traditional asset accounting and related reporting requirements.
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP requirements and relevant financial reporting guidelines.
• Prepare and support consolidations across complex fund and group structures.
• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and delivery of management, statutory, and regulatory reports.
• Provide high-quality financial information to support client decision-making.
• Support team planning and coordination to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services and reporting within agreed deadlines.
• Assist with internal and external audits, liaising with auditors, tax consultants, and local regulators.
