Job summary

Remote is building the infrastructure for global payroll and employment, operating entirely remotely across six continents. We seek a Senior Manager, Compliance for our Dutch regulated payments entity to lead KYB, AML/CFT, and regulatory oversight across the EU region.

You will shape the compliance framework, partner with leadership, and ensure adherence to European and Dutch laws while supporting Remote's global growth and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Second line of Defence experience in financial sector.
• Expert knowledge of EU payments law and Dutch financial regulation.
• Experience in Compliance and Compliance Operations within a global financial services company.

Responsibilities

• Lead the compliance team of the regulated entity, reporting to the General Manager.
• Oversee effectiveness of second line of defence across the European Economic Area.
• Own the Dutch regulated entity's compliance framework and policies.
• Advise General Manager, Management Board and Supervisory Board on compliance topics.
• Develop and monitor the annual Compliance Plan and Monitoring Plan.
• Manage budget and resources for the compliance function and recruitment.
