Job summary

SwissBorg, a leading digital asset platform, seeks a meticulous KYC Analyst based in the Netherlands. You will oversee onboarding, conduct due diligence, and assess individuals and corporate clients to identify financial crime risks.

In this remote-friendly role, you will collaborate with internal teams to apply AML/CTF principles, screen against sanctions, and help shape ongoing compliance processes in a fast-evolving crypto environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in KYC and compliance.
• Experience onboarding individual customers and reviewing ID docs.
• Ideally KYB onboarding with corporate structures and UBO considerations.
• Knowledge of AML/CTF principles and FATF recommendations.
• Experience with AML monitoring, sanctions screening, PEP checks.

Responsibilities

• Customer onboarding and verification for individuals and businesses.
• Source of funds and wealth assessments and documentation review.
• Conduct risk assessments to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Periodic account reviews and data quality checks.
• Sanctions and watchlist screening with escalation as needed.
• Enhanced due diligence for high-risk customers.
• IP address and activity verification to detect anomalies.
• Research customer backgrounds and beneficial ownership.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Apply AML/CTF principles and FATF guidelines in decisions.
• Contribute to process improvements in onboarding workflows.
