Join Damen Naval as an HVAC Integration Engineer in Vlissingen, contributing to the integration of HVAC-R systems on complex naval vessels. You’ll work from initial proposal to final delivery, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and customers to ensure seamless integration and high-quality results.

The role requires a 5+ year track record in HVAC engineering, knowledge of marine electrical and automation systems, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master in HVAC engineering or mechanical engineering with proven experience.
• Minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC-R systems in marine or offshore environments.
• Knowledge of electrical and automation in maritime contexts.
• Quality, planning and budget awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple external suppliers and subcontractors.
• Experience with regulatory bodies is a plus.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare technical specifications for suppliers and subcontractors based on client requirements.
• Perform technical evaluations of subcontractor quotations and review supplier documentation.
• Ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
• Integrate supplied components into the vessel design in collaboration with internal teams.
• Create technical/functional specification documents and verify performance via inspections and FATs.
• Maintain relations with supplier and subcontractor representatives.
• Participate in design reviews, risk analyses and quality assurance activities.
