Job summary

Forexx Group is seeking an Integration Engineer – Valves and Fittings to lead the selection, integration, and validation of valve systems on complex naval vessels. You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure performance, reliability and regulatory compliance.

The role requires BIM/ CAD familiarity and hands-on site presence in Vlissingen, NL, with strong communication skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Marine, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems and system integration.
• Experience with valves and fittings in marine or offshore projects.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to work on-site at Vlissingen, The Netherlands.
• Excellent references (security screening is part of the selection process).
• Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required due to the nature of projects.

Responsibilities

• Developing system concepts and selecting valve configurations during project engineering phases.
• Participating in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Preparing and reviewing technical specifications for suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluating quotations and ensuring supplier deliverables meet requirements.
• Reviewing supplier data and ensuring availability for engineering teams.
• Conducting technical integration reviews and testing focused on valve interfaces.
• Driving continuous improvement through validation, testing, and optimization.
• Occasionally supporting FAT, installation, and commissioning (HAT/SAT).
• Building partnerships with suppliers, clients, and regulatory bodies.
• Sharing expertise by coaching colleagues and promoting knowledge transfer.
