Job summary

JetBrains seeks a holding-level accounting expert to own and optimize the group’s statutory reporting and month-end processes across international entities. You will partner with tax, treasury, and controlling teams, guiding external auditors and ensuring compliance with Dutch requirements.

In this role you will lead closes, prepare statements, reconcile intercompany balances, and scale finance workflows to support JetBrains’ growth while maintaining high data integrity and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Deep, practical knowledge of general ledger accounting and holding structures.
• Experience with statutory reporting for entities in an international environment.
• Solid understanding of Dutch statutory compliance and reporting requirements.
• Experience operating ERP systems such as NetSuite and performing complex spreadsheet analyses.
• Fluent English communication with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead holding-level accounting activities including month-, quarter-, and year-end closes.
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements for holding entities.
• Ensure compliance with local Dutch statutory accounting and reporting.
• Guide external auditors and service providers through reporting and audit cycles.
• Analyze complex accounting matters and document key positions.
• Prepare reconciliations, journals, and balance sheet reviews for holdings.
• Monitor intercompany balances and align intercompany eliminations.
• Improve workflows, controls, and reporting systems to scale processes.
