Job summary

Shell Netherlands, a leading energy company, invites applications for an Operations role within the Trading and Supply context. You will help optimize the execution of the operational plan and collaborate across logistics and manufacturing teams to resolve deviations from the plan.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis with Salesforce, Power BI, and TMS, alongside HSSE adherence and continuous improvement. Excellent English and a willingness to engage across BeNeLux and Germany are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Maritime Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Shipping.
Experience in commodity operations or supply chain management.
English fluency; additional language is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure the optimized operational plan is executed.
Collaborate with logistics (marine and land) and manufacturing sites to resolve deviations from plan.
Develop scenarios to assess feasibility and economic outcomes of supply options during unplanned events.
Analyze performance data using Salesforce, Power BI, or TMS to drive improvements.
Identify opportunities for process improvements with SMEs.
Drive disciplined execution and end-to-end planning.
Adhere to HSSE guidelines and assess HSSE impact on business.
