Job summary

Cloudbeds is seeking a Global Thought Leadership Director to own the hospitality industry narrative, turning data and market dynamics into influential ideas. You’ll work directly with platform data, craft executive viewpoints, and publish research that drives Cloudbeds’ brand authority.

This is a senior, individual-contributor role reporting to the VP of Marketing. You will design studies, lead surveys, analyze results, and produce multi-channel content while staying ahead of hospitality

Qualifications

• Extensive hospitality or hotel technology experience as journalist, trade editor, industry analyst, or content strategist.
• Ability to surface insights from customer data and market dynamics.
• Strong writing voice: clear, specific, authoritative.
• Experience turning research assets into multi‑channel content programs.

Responsibilities

• Own thought leadership strategy and editorial calendar for Cloudbeds.
• Lead end‑to‑end original research programs (design studies, run surveys, analyze data).
• Turn platform data into reports, benchmarks, and publishable content.
• Develop executive viewpoints and presentations with the CEO/CGO/COO.
• Own customer story production from commissioning to writing.
• Collaborate with Director of Content Marketing to disseminate narratives across channels.
• Stay current on hospitality economics and tech shifts; apply AI tools in workflow.
