Job summary

Syneos Health seeks a Senior Global Clinical Trial Manager II with a solid CRA background. Fully home-based in the UK, Poland, Spain or Bulgaria, you will oversee site management, monitoring and risk assessments, coordinating CRAs and central monitors, and ensuring protocol adherence, patient safety and data integrity.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, manage budgets and timelines, present at key meetings, and escalate issues to the project manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead and align teams in the achievement of project milestones.
• Demonstrated capability of working in an international environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in site management and monitoring (clinical or central).
• Preferred experience with risk-based monitoring.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Must demonstrate good computer skills.
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills among project team and with sites.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrated ability to apply problem solving techniques to resolve complex issues, and apply a risk management approach to identifying and mitigating potential threats to the successful conduct of a clinical research project.

Responsibilities

• Oversees site management and monitoring deliverables with focus on patient safety and data integrity.
• Manages post-activation to closeout site interactions and related activities.
• Identifies risks and mitigations using the Risk Assessment and Categorization Tool (RACT).
• Reviews budgets, scope of work, and protocol content with the clinical project team.
• Escalates risks to the project manager and ensures contractual alignment.
• Participates in key meetings and coordinates with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinates training, tools, and regulatory documentation for study teams.
• Oversees CRAs and Central Monitors and ensures audit trails and systems readiness.
