Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a PGGI Business Controller to support its growing operations across the Netherlands and Belgium. You will combine business and project controlling, partnering with management, project teams, and finance stakeholders to drive performance and ensure financial compliance.

You will lead close processes, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, and contribute to SAP S/4HANA initiatives while maintaining strong internal controls and SOX compliance in a dynamic,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or related field.
• 5–8 years in business or project controlling in industrial or project-driven settings.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
• Hands-on SAP experience in FI/CO; SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Knowledge of internal controls, SOX, and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting.
• Drive budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Prepare management reporting and financial analyses for decision-making.
• Support ERP transformation and process improvements.
• Partner with project teams and management to ensure financial compliance.
