Job summary

Hitachi Energy The Netherlands B.V. is seeking a Financial Business Controller for Grid Integration NL & BE.

You will partner with management and project teams to drive performance, ensure compliance, and support strategic decisions in a dynamic, international setting. The role covers closing, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA transformation and cross-functional collaboration across the Netherlands and Belgium.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in business and/or project controlling, ideally in industrial or project-driven environment.
• Hands-on SAP experience, FI/CO; SAP S/4HANA knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent Dutch and English, both written and spoken; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting in compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, tax, and audit standards.
• Drive budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analyses, cost center reporting, and management reporting.
• Support SAP S/4HANA transformation with design, testing, and reporting enhancements.
• Deliver financial analyses and insights to support operational, strategic decisions.
• Ensure internal controls and SOX compliance within three-lines-of-defense framework.
• Partner with Project Controlling and Project Managers on forecasts, risks, and billing plans.
• Manage provisions, balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and financial performance analyses.
