Job summary

Hitachi Energy in the Netherlands seeks a PGGI Business Controller to combine business and project controlling, partnering with management and finance stakeholders to drive performance and support strategic decisions.

You will lead closing and reporting under IFRS and local GAAP, drive budgets and forecasts, support SAP S/4HANA implementation, and ensure SOX controls while providing insights to optimize project forecasts and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-8 years of professional experience in business or project controlling.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and IFRS/local GAAP.
• Hands-on SAP experience, FI/CO modules; SAP S/4HANA knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance business partner to management and project teams.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting activities.
• Drive budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analyses, and management reporting.
• Support SAP S/4HANA transformation, including process design and testing.
• Provide financial analyses and actionable insights for decision-making.
• Ensure SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Project Controlling to review projects and forecasts.
• Manage cost allocations and financial performance analyses.
