Job summary

Weaviate is seeking a Director of Product to own strategy and decision-making across the Weaviate Database, Weaviate Cloud, and agent products. You will engage with enterprise customers, translate feedback into a roadmap, and collaborate with the CTO and engineering leaders to drive feasible, customer-centric features.

You will manage a small product team, while continuing to own product areas yourself, balancing customer needs with platform reliability and ongoing tech debt considerations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management, including hands-on IC work
• Experience with enterprise customers: discovery, requirements gathering, expectation mgmt
• Track record of quantifying business impact and defending prioritization
• Comfortable in technically deep domains and collaborating with tech leads
• Experience running product processes in Linear or similar tool
• Strong written communication; ability to document decisions clearly
• Some people management experience or readiness to lead a small team of PMs
• Working hours between GMT and ET with occasional early/late calls

Responsibilities

• Translate customer reality into a roadmap and maintain a prioritized, clear roadmap
• Own prioritization and business value, attach expected business impact to major items
• Work closely with engineering on sequencing, feasibility, and dependencies across releases
• Set operating cadence for planning and execution and mentor PMs as the team grows
