Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking a Director of Product Management to own our security product strategy end to end, including vision, roadmap, and build vs buy decisions. You will align with engineering on database security, networking, and IAM, and guide PMs across security-adjacent initiatives.

You will partner with engineering, design, sales, and marketing to ship secure products, translate complex security needs into actionable specs, and drive GTM for security launches.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in B2B SaaS product management with a focus on security products.
• Hands-on experience with database security principles and best practices.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and their security implications.
• In-depth knowledge of identity and access management (IAM).
• Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for security offerings and justify it to engineering, leadership, and customers.
• Delve into database security, networking, and IAM to discuss details with engineering, not just approvals.
• Work with engineering, design, sales, and marketing to ship genuinely secure products.
• Translate security requirements into specifications and user stories for engineering.
• Own backlog prioritization and trade-offs considering value, risk, and cost.
• Lead go-to-market for security launches including positioning and documentation.
• Monitor security feature performance using data to guide what to build next.
• Be the security SME for other teams and mentor PMs on security-adjacent problems.
• Represent security posture and roadmap to top customers, prospects, and analysts.
