Job summary

RoomPriceGenie AG is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Algorithms team to lead the pricing and forecasting engine that powers thousands of hotels worldwide.

You will manage a team of 4 engineers (3 Senior and 1 Staff) and ensure delivery, quality and operational health while collaborating closely with Product and Senior Engineering Manager. This remote-first role emphasizes leadership, technical credibility, and scalable design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience, with several years managing engineers.
• Experience growing or managing other managers is a plus.
• Strong product mindset and ability to challenge Product.
• Technically credible and hands-on when needed.
• Excellent communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing team across pricing algorithm, forecasting and data pipelines.
• Grow your people through regular 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Hire, onboard and develop engineers to keep the team strong.
• Partner with Product and drive changes to what the team builds.
• Translate business goals into engineering plans with measurable outcomes.
• Improve engineering processes and practices.
• Lead technical improvements beyond your team.
