Job summary

WeTravel is seeking a senior engineering leader to oversee the Booking Management team. You will drive end-to-end checkout, order management, and tax-related work, partnering with product and customers to deliver delightful, reliable experiences for travelers worldwide.

You will own the reliability of critical booking systems, mentor engineers, and help implement AI-enabled engineering practices in a distributed, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product engineering experience in a senior capacity.
• Track record building scalable checkout/order flows and complex systems.
• Strong backend skills across modern languages and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead booking projects end-to-end from discovery to rollout and incident response.
• Collaborate with Product and Customer teams to improve the booking experience.
• Own the reliability of booking and order management systems.
• Mentor teammates on engineering practices and AI-enabled workflows.
