Job summary

Sentinel Earth AG in Lausanne is building an energy attribute certificate desk from the ground up, covering GO, REC, I-REC and biomethane certificates. You will own the desk, develop clients, and shape processes and market choices.

The role combines commercial and operational work, with remote setup, initial travel to meet partners, and a performance-based component. You will partner with the founders to scale a small venture into a durable desk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with GO/REC/I-REC markets and energy certificates.
• Knowledge of biomethane certificates or PPAs is a plus.
• Strong network and ability to grow a desk from a small base.

Responsibilities

• Set up the desk: markets, registries, contracts and processes.
• Originate supply from renewable producers and biomethane facilities; build a growing portfolio.
• Find and develop buyers, including corporates, utilities and traders; structure deals.
• Shape desk strategy with founders and develop pricing views and market insights.
• Define needed tools (certificate tracking, client reporting) and recruit partners as the activity grows.
