Nebius is assembling next-gen data center infrastructure and seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to shape mechanical systems for US projects. You will own design reviews, evaluate options, and collaborate with electrical, construction, and operations teams to deliver scalable, high-density environments.

The role requires independent work, ability to review third-party designs, and a focus on reliability, maintainability, and performance in data center settings.

Qualifications

• Experience designing mechanical systems for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Proficient in evaluating cooling options and capacity.
• Ability to review technical documents and partner deliverables.
• Experience with cross-functional teams including electrical, construction and operations.

Responsabilités

• Review mechanical design packages for data center projects, including internal concepts and third-party partner designs.
• Support mechanical design development for high-density data center environments.
• Evaluate mechanical design options for air-cooled and liquid-cooled data center architectures.
• Coordinate with electrical design, construction, commissioning, and operations stakeholders.
• Review designs for maintainability, operational resilience, capacity, and Nebius standards.
• Help assess technical tradeoffs, alternative solutions, product options, and design risks.
• Support design reviews tied to power density, airflow, cooling capacity, and operational readiness.
