Nebius is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead data center mechanical infrastructure evaluations, focusing on cooling systems, HVAC, and critical equipment. The role requires independent assessment of complex systems and establishing standards for future deployments.

On-site work at data centers and collaboration with vendors and engineering teams are essential. 8+ years in data center mechanical engineering and a PE license are highly valued.

Competenze

• 8+ years of data center mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with cooling topology design and liquid cooling.
• PE license or similar certification, preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Lead mechanical engineering evaluations for data center opportunities.
• Assess cooling infrastructure, HVAC systems, and critical mechanical equipment.
• Evaluate air-cooled, liquid-cooled, and hybrid cooling solutions for AI/hyperscale.
• Provide mechanical feasibility recommendations and Go/No-Go input.
• Conduct technical due diligence on existing and new facilities.
• Review cooling capacity, chiller plants, CRAH/CRAC, liquid cooling readiness.
• Evaluate equipment availability, vendor capabilities, lead times, deployment risks.
• Support cooling topology, mechanical design strategy, and equipment selection.
• Validate design assumptions, capacity requirements, and construction readiness.
• Partner with engineering teams, vendors, and consultants for scalable solutions.
