Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Data and AI Solutions Group Lead to steer globally distributed teams across regions. The role emphasizes people-first leadership, talent development, and delivering innovative data and AI solutions that create business value.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
Proven experience leading technical teams in Data/AI, ML, Analytics, or Software.
Experience coaching and building high-performing teams.
Experience delivering Data and AI solutions in production environments.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop globally distributed teams of Data, AI, engineers, and scientists.
Foster inclusive, high-trust culture with accountability and continuous learning.
Coach and develop talent with performance management and career planning.
Partner with Product and Engineering to set priorities, roadmaps, and success metrics.
Drive predictable delivery through planning, risk management, and execution practices.
Maintain clear delivery processes, reporting, and transparency for decision-making.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities and strategic initiatives.
Translate strategy into actionable short- and medium-term plans across regions.
Guide adoption of responsible AI practices and governance.
