Partner Company in the Netherlands is seeking a Cyber Security Domain Architect to shape enterprise security strategies across cloud, infrastructure, identity, and data environments.

You will define current-state and target-state architectures, establish standards and multi-year roadmaps, and lead security initiatives with Azure and VMware Cloud Foundation. This remote role focuses on risk reduction and strategic security outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Security Architect or similar cybersecurity architecture role.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Cybersecurity or related.
• Strong expertise in enterprise security architecture and solution design.
• Experience designing Azure native security controls and cloud governance.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and IAM.
• Hands-on with Defender suites and VMware security architecture.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to executives.
• Experience with healthcare/public-sector security frameworks is valuable.
• Security certifications (CISSP/CISM/Azure SA) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise security architectures across cloud, infra, identity, networking, and data.
• Develop current-state and target-state security architectures and multi-year roadmaps.
• Define security standards, controls, and reference architectures.
• Provide technical leadership across Azure and VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
• Design security capabilities: Entra ID/IAM, Zero Trust, micro-segmentation, data protection.
• Guide implementation of Microsoft security technologies and cloud governance.
• Facilitate security roadmap workshops with stakeholders and secure approvals.
• Support roadmaps and track risk, compliance, and operational outcomes.
• Conduct ADRs/ARB documentation and architecture reviews.
• Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and mitigation strategies.
• Advise executives on risks, priorities, and architectural trade-offs.
• Contribute to threat detection, incident response, and resilience initiatives.
