Job summary

ITproposal B.V. is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer (Azure) to strengthen security across our cloud platforms in Eindhoven. You will work within a DevOps context, implementing security controls, threat protection, and secure CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires 6–8 years of professional experience with 3+ years in secure cloud solutions, deep Azure expertise, and strong automation skills. This contract position spans six months and involves collaboration in a multidisciplinary DevOps

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree required in IT, CS, electronics, or related field.
6–8 years of professional experience, including 3+ years building and maintaining secure cloud solutions.
Deep Azure security knowledge with DevOps security practices.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve the security posture of Azure environments and remediate vulnerabilities.
Provide cybersecurity expertise for secure architectures across applications, OS, databases, and networks.
Configure security policies, access controls, and data protection in cloud environments.
Deploy threat protection, respond to security incidents, and support escalations.
Automate security controls and metrics using security-as-code principles.
Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
