Job summary

DeepHealth seeks a Security Operations Engineer to design, deploy, and run security controls across cloud and corporate environments. You will implement automation, detection content, and guardrails, while coordinating with the Security Operations Director and cross-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on cloud security experience, SIEM/SOAR expertise, and scripting skills. You will work in a remote setup supporting a global footprint with HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance considerations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security operations or security engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud providers (GCP/AWS/Azure) and cloud security controls.
• Proficient in SIEM tuning, log sources, and detection content.
• Automation and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or similar.
• Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash).
• Familiarity with HIPAA, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2 standards.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and tune enterprise security tooling across cloud and corporate environments.
• Develop and maintain detection content, correlation rules, and response automation in SIEM/SOAR.
• Onboard log sources, validate ingestion, and normalize fields for analytics.
• Administer endpoint detection and response tooling and policy configurations.
• Implement policy-as-code and preventive guardrails across cloud platforms.
• Support cloud security posture management and remediation workflows.
• Produce runbooks, playbooks, and engineering change documentation.
