Job summary

Cruiming & Partners in the Netherlands is seeking an assistant accountant to ensure the basics are solid and to help entrepreneurs with their financial overview. You will process administrations, prepare VAT returns and draft annual accounts, while also contributing to discussions about opportunities in the numbers.

We value input, teamwork, and a proactive mindset. You’ll work in a hybrid setup with opportunities for automation and AI-enabled tools to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant work experience.
• Strong numerical ability and analytical mindset.
• Good command of Dutch (minimum B2).
• Completed education in a financial field.
• Responsible for client management and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify financial administrations to ensure completeness and correctness.
• Prepare and compile annual accounts for various SMEs.
• Prepare VAT returns and other tax-related tasks.
• Analyze numbers, identify deviations and notable items.
• Support and advise entrepreneurs on financial and administrative questions.
• Maintain client contact and handle inquiries independently.
• Contribute to improvements and automation using AI and smart software.
