Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design and deploy production-grade ML systems for real-world nonprofit applications. You will work remotely with a mission-driven team addressing healthcare, agriculture, education, and development challenges.

You will collaborate with researchers and embedded engineers, mentor partner staff, and contribute to open-source evaluation tools, ensuring responsible AI practices across international deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong foundations in mathematics, deep learning, large language models (LLMs), and modern AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, evaluate, deploy, and improve machine learning systems and AI-powered applications for real-world use cases.
• Contribute to open-source AI evaluation infrastructure and tools for nonprofits.
• Collaborate with researchers and field teams to translate findings into reusable tools and frameworks.
• Develop evaluation methods for AI systems with datasets and measurable performance improvements.
• Build production-grade LLM applications and agentic systems for end users.
• Release technical innovations as open-source contributions when appropriate.
• Deliver solutions through rapid development and measurable feedback.
