Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an App Security Expert based in the Netherlands for a fully remote engagement. You will design test environments, evaluate vulnerabilities in traditional and AI-powered apps, and address LLM security challenges such as information disclosure and excessive agency.

You will build deterministic test cases, evaluation frameworks, and reference solutions, collaborating with security specialists to refine methods and improve overall testing quality in a distributed, remote team.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in security engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of application security principles, secure coding, vulnerability assessment and remediation techniques.
• Familiarity with OSWE-level concepts and practical testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement fixtures with representative vulnerabilities or secure implementations focusing on OWASP risks in LLM apps.
• Develop realistic test scenarios for critical LLM security concerns, including data disclosure and excessive agency.
• Create deterministic test cases and security-context manifests for consistent evaluation.
• Develop reference solutions and hidden keys to enable AI systems to evaluate vulnerable vs secure code.
• Refine testing pipelines to ensure realistic, reproducible security evaluation tasks.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in application codebases and improve remediation strategies.
• Contribute to security architectures for traditional and agent-based systems.
• Apply AI-powered SAST and LLM security to improve automated vulnerability detection.
• Document findings, approaches, and recommendations clearly and precisely.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and provide constructive feedback on contributions.
• Support continuous improvement of security evaluation pipelines by identifying weaknesses and proposing enhancements.
