Job summary

EPEX SPOT is seeking a Market Operations professional to help run the energy markets with a mix of shift-based monitoring and strategic project work. You will join a team of about 30 in Amsterdam and Berlin, collaborating across IT, Membership, Sales and Communications to ensure reliable market operations and high-quality customer service for our members in Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, computer science, or related energy field.
• 1 year of experience in an operational team or similar role.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run markets in 24/7 shifts and ensure smooth operation with data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Provide friendly, timely customer support to members and act as the external face of the company.
• Coordinate with IT, Membership, Sales, and Communications and manage relations with external partners and TSOs.
• Participate in agile Scrum teams for system releases and contribute to new services and projects.
