Job summary

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) in Amsterdam offers a 10-month traineeship in the Regulatory Science and Academia Office. Intake on 1 March 2027, with up to 40% teleworking from the Netherlands.

The position is for motivated graduates or students on Erasmus+ or similar programmes, PhD or Master's students, seeking experience and contributing to EMA's work for every patient in Europe. Mentorship is provided throughout the programme.

Qualifications

• Must hold a university degree in medicine or biomedical sciences.
• English at least C1; knowledge of another official EU language at least B2.
• EU citizenship or eligibility for EU member state employment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse the latest snapshot of an open survey.
• Combine data from different sources including literature and databases.
• Contribute data to the Academia Pipeline System database.
• Draft presentations and a report with recommendations.
