7people is a People and Culture consultancy focused on connecting senior HR professionals with opportunities. You’ll join the Recruitment Team to source and present top HR candidates for interim and permanent roles, building strong relationships with clients and candidates alike.

The role emphasizes proactive outreach, networking, and delivering high-quality profiles to HR leaders and organizations in the Dutch startup scene.

The ideal role for an experienced recruiter, who loves the idea of connecting senior HR professionals with their next role. You act as a true business partner to our clients, you think along, help them scope the role and provide market intelligence. You will introduce our clients to the best HR talents in the market.

This is an all-around commercial recruitment role, with a focus on interim and permanent roles for senior People & Culture (HR) professionals.

We are a People and Culture consultancy, helping organizations to become irresistible. As builders at heart, we help fast-moving companies transition to their next phase. These are exciting phases, improving their ability to attract, retain, and engage their people. We provide HR Consulting services, Interim HR support, Workshops & Training and Recruitment support.

Your Role

You join our Recruitment Team, which is part of the broader 7people team. The recruitment team currently exists of two fulltime recruiters, and they are very busy… so we need you to come in. (The overall team is 24fte, the majority are HR consultants.)

This role primarily focuses on finding the right HR candidates for our clients.

• You will pro-actively build a network of senior HR professionals / HR Leaders.
• They are your clients when they recruit for their own team, they are your candidates when they are looking for a new job.
• You know where to find them! Even better, they will know where to find you when they are looking for a new role.
• You build relationships with your clients and advise them on the best HR profiles.
• You will proactively approach and source candidates for permanent roles - by a variety of sourcing methods.
• You will pre-screen / interview candidates, and present strong long- and shortlists to our clients.

By doing a great job, you will help 7people grow by building out our client base.

Types of positions you will recruit for:

• HR Executives: HR Manager / Head of People / VP People / CHRO
• HR Experienced = mid to senior-level profiles such as HRBP and People Lead

We also provide interim HR solutions for our clients. If the clients need senior HR interim support, this can also be part of your role.

HR Community

We regularly bring the HR community together at events and meetups. We also publish a newsletter and have a large follower base. You can use all of this to build your network, and it sets you up for success from day 1. Part of this role is to contribute to our HR community via our channels, presenting them with the best opportunities!

It's a broad recruitment role, contributing to the growth of 7people and the growth or our clients.

Experience we are looking for

• Recruitment experience- You have multiple years of recruitment experience, and you are a good sparring partner at senior level. (We are thinking 4+ years of experience at least. Agency or in-house are both interesting for us.)
• Commercial experience - Ideally you’ve been responsible for bringing in business or building a strong client network before. Part of this role is building out our business, a strong commercial mindset is important.
• You enjoy proactively reaching out to people you don’t know yet! This is a role in which you will be the ultimate networker, on the phone quite a bit to make those matches.
• You can work independently, but love working in a team. We’re in it together, we don’t have individual targets. This is different from a standard recruitment agency - we really believe in shared growth and responsibilities.
• You can work on multiple assignments at the same time. You are an excellent planner of your time.
• You are creative, tech-savvy and love innovation. You always look for new ways to work smarter and more efficient.

You are based locally and have gained experience in the Netherlands. Ideally you understand the startup landscape.
A Dutch speaker is preferred, but we are open to a native/fluent English speaker as well.

It’s less commercial than working for a recruitment agency, as you work closely with HR professionals and not purely with other recruiters. • Salary: The range is €4500 - €5500 per month base + holiday allowance. Where you 'sit' in this range depends on your experience.
• Commercial incentives: Quarterly bonus payments (based on team target) which are uncapped.
• Travel reimbursement: Actual travel costs home-office (car or public transport).
• Do something fun for yourself allowance: We give you €50 every month to spoil yourself.
• Mobile phone allowance: €25 per month.
• Lovely office in Amsterdam West: where we work together, get inspired and enjoy the rooftop.
• Top Tools: A MacBook, Bose noise-cancelling headset, and an excellent tech set up. We work in G-Suite, have large 2nd screens in the office, wireless everything, no internal emails - just Slack.
• Leave: 5 weeks of annual leave, and a few extra days here and there to celebrate life.
• Hours: 32, 36 or 40 hours per week (no less than 32 - which is 4 days)
• Location: The current team works fulltime, and is in the office 4-5 days per week. For this role the same would be great, at least 3 days per week in our office. Friday’s we aim to be in the office every week.
