Job summary

Fitz-Roy Urban Hotel, Bar and Garden is seeking a friendly receptionist in Maastricht to warmly welcome guests, manage check-in and check-out, and assist with inquiries. Fluency in English and Dutch is required; German and/or French are a plus.

Previous hospitality experience is helpful but not mandatory, with a flexible, customer-focused attitude valued. Shifts run 8:00–16:00 and 16:00–22:00; this is a part-time role offering 32 to 38 hours per week in a vibrant hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Dutch; knowledge of German and/or French is a plus.
• Command of multiple languages is valuable for guest interactions.
• Hospitality training counted as a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

Who are you?

As a receptionist, you are the first point of contact for our guests, and you will help with the check-in/check-out of hotel guests. You will make it your top priority to make sure our guests feel welcome, and their stay will be pleasant. Previous experience as a receptionist is an advantage, but certainly not a requirement. The most important aspect is that you have good communication skills, problem-solving skills and enthusiasm. If you are following, or have completed, a hospitality training, that will count as a plus. In addition, speaking Dutch and English is a requirement. Do you have a talent for languages and are you able to speak German and French? Then you have an edge!
