Job summary

Thales Hengelo is seeking a C/C++ Radar Software Engineer to join the Sensor Processing group. You will contribute to radar controls, real-time processing, and object detection, tracking, and display on operator consoles.

We value 5+ years in C++ RT software, Linux proficiency, and strong mathematics understanding. Eligibility for Dutch Eyes Only clearance and VGB-B are required; hybrid work is supported in a modern Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in C++ software development.
• Experience with Real-Time Software development.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of mathematics relevant to software development.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.
• Familiarity with build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Reskilling possible, but only if the candidate has prior real-time software experience.
• Eligibility for VGB-B clearance and eligibility for Dutch Eyes Only classification.

Responsibilities

• Develop radar software within the Sensor Processing group.
• Contribute to radar controls, data transmission, and information processing streams.
• Help detect, classify, track, and display objects on the operator console.
• Work in Agile teams with a modern development toolchain.
