Job summary

Thales Hengelo in the Netherlands seeks a senior radar software engineer to develop the complete radar software stack within the Sensor Processing group. You will work on radar controls, data processing, and real-time algorithms in a modular, Agile environment.

You should have a completed HBO/WO in a technical field and at least 5+ years of C++ and real-time software experience, with Linux proficiency. Dutch and English fluency is required; hybrid work is supported with strong security

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in C++ software development and real‑time software.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and working within large software organizations.
• Proactive, team‑oriented with clear communication; Dutch and English language skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop radar software modules for sensor processing, including control, transmission organization and data processing.
• Collaborate in Agile teams to maintain and evolve the software architecture and toolchain.
